Sherine, a city girl from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia started her jazz journey rather unintentionally.  She was focused as an athlete in her early years, juggling time between schools and her training. Then there was a dramatic turn of event, Sherine was crowned Miss Malaysia Universe. 

From young, Sherine has lead a strong and free lifestyle, her parents lend her the Liberty to travel and do whatever her heart desired. Perhaps it’s this sense of liberalism somehow intertwined with her discovery of jazz music, after all , a freedom of expression with a genuine attitude is really what jazz is all about, isn’t it?

The sophisticated and romantic lyrics from the American Songbook genuinely resonate with Sherine as she started to venture down this rabbit hole. And coincidentally , her sultry and intrinsic voice complimented this genre nicely.
